1
Key Elements

Our company believes everyone is responsible for safety. We maintain a top-down, bottom-up approach to safety that gives every employee stop-work authority. This continually strengthens our safety culture by empowering employees and promoting safe decisions and actions. We strive to provide the safest job sites possible with extensive safety planning, routine safety training, continual safety assessments, daily job hazard analyses, site specific safety plans, and a dedicated professional safety team.

2
Technology

As a company, we deploy the most modern technology in all facets of our process. This is especially true within our safety program. Our safety team has designed and implemented a digital job hazard assessment process known as the Take 5. The Take 5 application allows all employees to perform a JHA at any point throughout their day from their cell phone or tablet. Since the implementation of this app, along with our dedication to the other areas of our safety program, we have lowered our incident rate by 75%.

The safety team has also designed and operates digital applications for reporting near misses, incidents, and accidents. Additionally, we have been able to lower costs associated to equipment damage by implementing a digital pre-trip inspection form.

Training

PRG supplies our employees with substantial opportunities for training. From the day a new employee joins our family, through their duration with the company, they are exposed to a highly positive safety culture and given every opportunity to be successful. We provide continual training in every aspect of construction safety through weekly, quarterly, and annual safety trainings. We continually review and access our training program and adapt training to the specific needs of every employee and every project.

Testimonials

" The effort and commitment the PRG Group has demonstrated is courageous and exciting… Safety needs to be a priority and a commitment in the construction industry, and it is very difficult to change the culture within an organization/industry, unless having 100% dedication, effort, and continuously improving safety awareness to all parties involved on a project. Based on several data factors, programs, leading by example, and leadership support, PRG Group has demonstrated that Safety is a priority within their organization and will continue to improve and bring a strong Safety Culture to their projects. " Working with The PRG Group and seeing them strive to improve in all things safety has not only improved the way our team functions on their jobs, but it has helped improve our safety culture across all aspects of our business. The PRG team has taken the time to educate, explain and provide feedback so that a high-quality safety standard isn’t an unobtainable goal, it is an awareness that sets our team and those around us up for success. "

Cornerstone Management Systems

" Cornerstone Management Services (CMS) has been a subcontractor operating through PRG for over 12-years. Though I am aware of numerous safety related improvements PRG has made for their internal team, I greatly appreciate the enormous outreach and support PRG has offered CMS and further detail how PRG, and more specifically, Chris Anderson, PRG Safety Director, goes above and beyond for their network of subcontractors. PRG has not only committed themselves to safety excellence within the workplace, but has helped their network, community, and industry with thorough safety related outreach and education thus creating a culture of safety which will echo throughout the Gallatin and Madison County for years to come. "
