When it comes to Safety at PRG, our priorities never stop at the internal level. Physical and mental health bear equal weight to safety. We strive to further the understanding and knowledge of our trade partners and community through personalized and open-door trainings. In doing so, we not only continue to foster a strong safety culture within our doors but promote other individuals to build awareness and genuine care for the wellbeing of their coworkers, trade partners, and neighbors. At the end of the day, it is our ambition to keep our fellow Montanans safe and healthy on and off the clock.

We do not look at Safety as a competition, but rather a common goal to be collectively achieved.

Community Outreach - Suicide Prevention Seminar

Montana has the second highest suicide rate in the country. Construction and extraction have the second highest suicide rate, almost four times the rate of other professions.

PRG teamed up with Dick Anderson Construction, Williams Plumbing, and the Montana Department of Labor to sponsor a Failsafe for Life- ASIST seminar in Belgrade. This Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day intensive, interactive, and practice-dominated course designed by LivingWorks to help caregivers recognize and review risk and intervene to prevent the immediate threat of suicide. It is by far, the most widely used, acclaimed, and researched suicide intervention training workshop in the world.

We were able to include participants from multiple construction companies and other industries. Participants were not only from the Gallatin Valley, but other Montana cities, including Butte, Helena, Lewistown, and Great Falls. The event was a great success not only for PRG, but for our industry and our community.
