PRG Project Managers lead and manage full life cycle of the projects assigned. Providing leadership to the Project Superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers; their main objective is to execute Safe, Efficient, Organized, Profitable, On Time Projects of Excellent Quality. Directly responsible for Project Planning/Scheduling, Buyout, Financial Management, Estimating, OAC Communications, Internal Reporting, and to work with and oversee the project Superintendent and participate in the Safety, the Quality of all assemblies and overall project success.
PRG Project Manager Responsibilities
Responsible for preliminary/initial job planning, including subcontractor selection, analysis and troubleshooting of construction budgets, design documents and all other project information, develop a project progress schedule and plan of construction.
Execute timely project Buy Out early in project commencement. Create and execute subcontract and purchase order agreements, insurance certificates, permits, bonds and other documents as required for each project. Work to ensure the interest of project construction budget is always protected.
Build out and maintain construction schedule to track weekly tasks and milestone dates.
Expedite, review, and process all shop drawings, samples and submittals.
Represent the Company in meetings with the owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and others in the conduct of the project.
Be familiar with owner/contractor and subcontract contract agreements. Execute the work in conformance with the contract documents.
Lead the project to success. Lead by example.
Manage the PRG QA/QC process for the project, including arranging the pre-construction conference, attending pre-installation meetings, and reviewing and signing follow up inspections and assembly close out documents (QAQC Process Requirements).
Cultivate and maintain good relationships with the owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, municipal authorities, within PRG Group and our sister company’s personnel.
Skills
Previous experience in construction management
Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
Pro-core (preferred but not required)
Good communication skills
Builder-trend or Microsoft Projects experience (preferred but not required)
Good time management
